Backup Validation fails

Hi All,
Hope someone can help. We are using Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 with Universal restore to backup a MS Small Business Server 2003 to a Dell RD1000 USB Backup drive (which is essentially just an external hard drive. This drive is F:\). We back up the entire server including the system drive.

I get 4 error messages which I have detailed below. I have tried using the event code in the 'Smart Error Reporting' search tool but it does not return any results.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to troubleshoot?

In one of these errors -
Message: The archive is corrupted
- says that archive is corrupted. If this archive fails to validate every time and at the same progress %%, it most likely means that it's indeed corrupted and you need to recreate it. If every created archive fails to validate this way - it may indicate bad disk quality or hardware problems in connection interface. If percentage of failure is random, the archive is most likely valid, but is read incorrectly for some reason.
