Backup a VM vSphere4.1

Hi
I installed on a testsystem ABR10 with virtual Edition and other kyes Adv Server. On the ESX the appliance was installed automatically. I want to Backup a VM, so I created a Backupplan.
I get the message Sie versuchen, virtuelle Maschinen mit einigen Einschränkungen beim Backup-Prozess zu sichern. Das sind folgende virtuelle Maschinen: vmxy - Im erstellten backup kann die virtuelle Maschine in einem inkonsistenten Zusatnd sein, da keine Integrationswerkzeuge auf der virtuellen maschine installiert sind.

Do I need the Acronis-Agent in a VM? This is used only for physical PC's - Right?

You might be right. I tried this with a Linux machine which certainly has no VMWare Tools installed. But in the end thats not my most important problem. I think it failed because this was an ESXi Server without the vStorage API. So I am going to install the Agent on every machine.
