backup for xp

Thread needs solution

Hello, this is rather new to me, so I could use some advice if possible.
I have win xp pro 32b and I am thinking of changing to win xp 64.
Will this software backup my complete system (c/drive) so I can reinstall on the new operating system.
I dont know if this is possible or if the software is designed to do this.
I dont mind changing operating system. but its the reloading of all the software and hardware which is really a big pain and takes so many hours.....
thanks in advance for all the Help Jim

I'm afraid you'll have to bite the bullet and reinstall all your apps. The data files, like music, movies, and pics you can just copy over once you've installed the apps.

What you should do, though, is to backup the 32-bit system in case you do not like the 64-bit OS, or in case it doesn't work on your system. True Image will do this for you - backup the present system and allow you to restore it if needed.
