Hi,

We have a number of Servers @ Work, running SIEMENS INDUSTRIAL LINUX Release Version v9.1-R0-PL0

The Servers have 4 150gb HD's set-up as a SYSTEM RAID & DATA RAID. Both RAIDS ARE RAID 1.

What Software, If any do ACRONIS do which would be able to do an Effective BACKUP/RESTORE with the Configuration that I have outlined above.

"Server for Linux" or "Advanced Server". Use trial version to check that it works on this particular linux and that bootable media recognize RAIDs.

Forgot to mention, that we can not Install anything on the Servers, so it needs to be some sort of Bootable media

Peter, thank you for your questions. Dev-anon is absolutely right: you need either Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Server for Linux (Standalone) or Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server. But since you're not going to install the software onto the Server, I'd suggest you Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Server for Linux (Standalone). before making a decision I would advise you to check the demo version is here and the Installation, Quick Start and User's Guides.

The trial version is full functional, but has certain limitations. They are listed here. Please check the list and let me know in case you have any questions, I will be glad to address every concern.

It is definitely possible to manage the machine from the bootable media. After the purchase and registration to your account here, you will be able to download the bootable media and burn it onto the CD without installing Acronis software on your machine.

Unfortunately this option's not available with the trial version, so in order to obtain the bootable demo CD, please, either contact our support directly or me via PM - we will send you the respective links and instructions, if needed.
