Boot Media cannot find local drive

Thread needs solution

Pardon my failed English.

Machine : Lenovo X3550 M5, installed with Windows Server 2012, with RAID 1 (Avago EFI SAS Driver , ServeRAID M1215)

(Machine is able to boot into Windows Server 2012)

Boot Media : Acronis Backup and Recovery 11.5 ( purchased in 2013) (Working fine with IBM X3550 M4 Server)

I insert the Boot Media in CD Rom, boot via CD Rom. Able to boot via Acronis, but At DOS level (Before the GUI), there a message. No boot Device Found.

At GUI, i select BACKUP, but I can't find any C Drive or any other local Drive.

I had try set TPM off , disable Secure boot, boot  via UEFI, boot via legacy mode, boot media run via LINUX mode, boot media via WINPE mode.

But failed...

Can any kind soul help?

Hello Thomas,

This is probably related to lack of drivers for the newer hardware on the old media.

We regularly update the kernel and drivers for our Acronis Linux media so the first step I would suggest is creating or downloading the media of the latest build and booting up with that.

Hi Igor:

Actually I try to download the latest patches / update but not allowed.

The registration was done by an ex colleague, using his email acc.

so now that he left, and i take over.

I cannot access his email.... as it was deleted due to company policies...

So is there any way i am transfer the product registration to my email account?

Hello Thomas,

You can contact support to get the licenses transfered to a different company account. Such issues are always supported even if the product is no longer under maintenance.

Thank you.
