B&R 10 Dell PowerEdge R710
I have an older Dell PowerEdge server running Windows Server 2003 SBS which I want to image over to a new PowerEdge R710 server. I was able to take an image of the old server which completed successfully.
I downloaded and extracted the Chipset, RAID and Network drivers for the new Dell to a shared location. Created bootable media with the drivers. The image restored OK, but when I boot the server it gets to the Windows splash screen, a quick BSOD and then reboots.
I've attempted restoring the C: and MBR again with new bootable media, and also selected the UR restore feature in Advanced options, and showed where the device drivers were located on the shared drive. The restore said it completed, but with errors. When I click logs Acronis would just sit there and wouldn't open anything up. Upon reboot, the server does the same exact thing (BSOD at Windows splash screen). I can boot into Safe mode, get to the Windows logon screen, but the USB keyboard and mouse are not recognized.
This time I downloaded and burned the Bootable media from my Registered Products site here, but when that loads it does not have the drivers for the network card and I can't access where the shared data is. I'm currently copying the .TIB file over to an external USB harddrive to try that out locally along with the correct drivers. Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Adam
