Can we restore V10 .Tib file with a V11 boot image ?
I am trying restore a server. I use a V11 boot image i created with Bootable Media Builder.
However, my .tib files are made from a V10 version. When i try to choose my .tib files, it does not work, it says it cannot get the data.
Is there a compatibility issue ? it works fine with a V10 boot image

Hi Hugo and Gary,
I've just tested a restore of a system using an older ABR10 image (2010) as well as a True Image (2004) TIB file and both seemed to be recoverable using the latest ABR11 boot CD during the testing.
I used the default "All Archives" view as well as performing a "Volume" restore during the testing.
Perhaps check the method that you are using to read the image files, eg, if you are loading over a network ensure you have full access to the images, if you are using USB perhaps try and check you are using the latest build of ABR11 boot CD... If still having issues try the WinPE ABR11 boot CD and finally it might be best to contact Acronis support if you are still having trouble but hopefully one of those suggestions will help get it sorted out.

I found the problem.... silly me.
I looked and looked and could not find an "All Archives" selection.
Simply clicked OK while in the folder and shazam! All TIBs appear.
This is a departure from previous versions that would display the folder contents as you selected the folders.
User error I guess. Not the first time and won't be the last.

Hi Gary
Thanks for the update, great to see you managed to find the issue, thanks for sharing your findings as I'm sure others might run into the same issue/question in the future as well :-)
All the best!
