Cannot delete old tasks

Thread needs solution

I have several tasks that belongs to a server that I had problem with. I have gone removed all the files from the task manager folder and did the TASK ZAP but still see all these tasks. One of them is even still running with two other waiting to run - and none of them can be stopped.

How can I get rid of these?

Hello Eric LeMaster,

Thank you very much for your post. I will definitely assist you with your question.

From the description of the issue, it seems that the tasks you mention were scheduled on remote machines. If I am wrong, please correct me and let me know briefly about your environment.

The best way to get rid of the tasks that cannot be stopped would be to perform the following on the machine in question.

1. Stop all Acronis Services from start-run-services.msc and press enter.

2. Get rid of all Acronis processes from the Windows task manager-Processes. Make sure that you have the box - Show processes from all users checked. After that end the following processes:

- agent.exe

- TiMounterMonitor.exe

- Schedhlp.exe

- schedul2.exe

You can also empy the scripts folder located here: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImage\Scripts

as well as issue the task zap command. This will ensure that all scheduled tasks have been deleted.

The task zap command gets rid of all scheduled tasks, and from the way you described this problem, it seems that the tasks are running on different machines.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
