Cannot Get Universal Restore to Apply

Thread needs solution

I have restored a computer to dissimilar hardware. The backup was done offline with Acronis Bootable Media, The files are there but the computer will not boot to Windows 10. It will attempt, but eventually goes to the WinRE.

I have attempted to apply Universal Restore, but I cannot select the OS, it says there in no operationg system on the current machine.

Now, I can get in to the command prompt with the WinRE, and get into the WIndows folder on the system partition, but for some reason UR does not see that the OS is on that partition.

The Original Disk was a 1 TB drive set to boot UEFI and I am restoreing it to a 2TB drive set to UEFI.

The restore completes successfully with no errors.

I have looked here: https://kb.acronis.com/content/46385

Then followed the steps here: https://kb.acronis.com/content/35681

The big difference I have noted is that on Step 8, it shows applying the UR while doing the restore. For all of the bootable media I have access to UR is on a separate disk/boot partition on the CD. The first picture under step 8 shows three areas in green that do not exist on my bootable media.

I created another UR disk and loaded the drivers for the computer I am restoring to, and still get the no OS error.
