cannot uninstall and or update to 13545
Hi,
I tried to uninstall ABR10 but it fails to ininstall the management server. I tried to update from 12708 to 13545 but it also fails at the management server. I was able to install the license server but it will not connect now. I tried to uninstall the management server using the uninstall programs and also the link in the acronis folder and also using the clesnup utility but they all fail. I would appreciate any assistance. I have attached one of the logs. Please help.

Thanks for the reply dev-anon. I do not understand why it would fail on username, it was installed using that user. Anyway, I was able to uninstall everything but the management server and then install all the components except the management server. I may have to open a ticket or call tomorrow. I do have another machine that I could install the server on, it is the machine that I would manage from but it may not be on when a scheduled backup is to occur. Would this cause the scheduled backups to fail?

I don't understand it too.
Regarding offline AMS - it doesn't need to be on while backup if performed after policies are deployed on agents. However machines with agents may accumulate queues of messages, while AMS is offline, that they want to deliver to AMS, and will deliver them all when it becomes online. This may temporarily overload it. If the destination used in policy is a centalized managed vault organized on ASN (storage node) then I'm not that sure that it will work with offline AMS, but most likely it will.
If agents already have backup plans, and if management server during uninstallation did not 1) remove policies from agents 2) 'remove' mention of centralized vaults that are used in these policies or local backup plans, then agents most likely will continue to perform the old backups tasks.
