can't update 10 to 11, need agent and bootmedia keys ?

Thread needs solution

I have acronis 10 + UR installed but was only given keys for the program and the universal restore.
when installing the acronis 11 + 11UR it stops at a point with this error

acronis backup & recovery bootable media builder licence key is required
Acronis backup & recovery 11 agent licence key is required

I was only give 2 keys when purchasing 11, the main program and the Universal restore.
What am I overlooking ?

Win764 with Build 10.0.13544 install and running.
trying to install upgrade to ABR11A.17217_en-US + UR

PS: i have registed the serials and loged onto the my account section, but still can't find the agent or boot media serials ?

Hello Lee,

Thank you for your post. I will definitely help you with resolving this issue.

In order for this to work you will need to add your ABR10+ABR11 and both AUR keys into the license field.

I tried that, and tried the import from a txt file way as well, but still don't get the next button avaliable.
see pic (i edited out the last set of numbers with the description of they keys i am using)

Ok, Im starting to get pretty agitated about the whole thing, now, wasting hours/days on broken DRM is not fun :(

I reinstalled 10, added the UR, and tried the 11 upgrade again, re downloaded the 11 upgrade installer . Stuck in all my keys, tried just the 10 keys and just the 11 keys all the keys.

But still it asks for boot media key and agent key .

Can I just exchange all my keys for a single new one that actually works, please........

Lee,

Are you importing a text file with the keys or entering them manually if not using the licence server?

Are you using the Acronis installer or the MSI installers?

Is your ABR11 installer the latest one as of Thursday/Friday (depending on which time zone you live in)?

The boot media key and the agent key are the same licence number.

I experienced a similar problem, where the [ Next ] button was not active after entering both my ABR10 and ABR11 keys during install.
I was using an install package downloaded from Acronis on June 21st, but built on June 19th according to the Digital Signature.

I went around, and around with Acronis Tech Support, but it was eventually another Forum member who told me he had a newer build. His was a en-EU version and I wanted a en-US build, but I tried his build and it worked.

This morning (Friday July 1), I re-downloaded the ABR11 package from Acronis MY ACCOUNT web-site and it had a June 24th digital signature.
This build accepted all my keys, installed and is operating correctly.

It would be helpful if Acronis clearly identified these slipstream builds with external versioning, rather than requiring a download and examination of the digital signature.

Don't know if a new download will help your problem, but I thought it may.
