Confused about needed software for online backup of virtual machines
According to the Acronis "wizard", to backup a hyper-v host's VMs to online backup, I need:
* Acronis Backup & Recovery® Online For Virtual Machines 2 TB
I signed up for the trial, and my online account shows I have an activated subscription for Virtual Machines.
However, in my test environment (Hyper-V 2008R2 host) ABR11 does not have the ability to backup VMs -- I only have the option for a disk backup or a file backup.
I assume this is because the Hyper-V host is running the Agent for Windows.
So I then downloaded the ABR11A_trial_en-US.exe, which has the Hyper-V agent software component, but when I attempt to install it, I am asked for another license key.
What specific pieces do I need to backup up Hyper-V VMs online?? Can I do this with the trialware?

Dev-anon:
I originally downloaded ABR11S_trial_en-US.exe, which is linked on the "My Account" page as "Download edition with local management". Apparently, its also a non-Hyper-V version.
I uninstalled everything and installed the ABR11A_trial_en-US.exe, which installed the Hyper-V agent on the host, and backing up virtual machines is now an option.
I was then running into a problem where I was getting VSS errors (event 22 and 12292) in the Application log of the VM being backed up. As it turns out, the issue appears to be leftover registry entries for the Acronis VSS provider (I had earlier had ABR installed on that VM for some testing). I removed those entries out of the registry and the VM backup appears to be proceeding without errors. I mention this in case anyone else comes across this situation, which apparently has happened before:
