Corrupted File Error

Thread needs solution

I have Acronis True Image 2011. I had a hard drive crash with what I thought was a continuous backup going on. I went to recover a .tib file and got the error message below. The last modified date of the file was the previous night of the incident. I just need to find out if there is a way to get to the data inside. I would buy 2016, and will for sure if this backup gets me out of my jam. I have tried from the boot disk and it states the file is corrupted.

Hi James,

The event code points to this KB article:

https://kb.acronis.com/content/23362

Try following the instructions from it. It is also possible that the backup archive got corrupted for some reason.

Unfortunately, Acronis True Image 2016 cannot recover images created with versions older than Acronis True Image 2013.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Jury.
