Crashed system when creating "Acronis Safe Zone"

Thread needs solution

Now, my system not only crashed. BUT I cannot even get it to boot onto the Vista disk to be able to repair the system. It just keeps going back to the error, "winboot.exe missing or corrupt"

How can I fix this? How do I even get the system to go into the boot menu?

Thanks for your assistance!

Hello Brian,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/ | Acronis True Image]]

First of all we should check the health of the RAID array. Please boot the computer from a Windows installation CD, hit F6 when prompted and check out whether the drivers work there. Check if the RAID/HDD is detected.

If the RAID is detected, most probably the issue was caused by the file system corruption or the drive letters were reassigned. To find the exact reason of the issue could you please obtain Acronis report from the unbootable system and attach to your next post? I am sending the file to you via PMs.

This information will help me to investigate the issue thoroughly and provide you with a possible solution.

Thank you.
