Custom Backup Schedule

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if this is wrong:

Full Backups = Once Per Month (Sundays)
Incremental Backup = Working Days (Mon. - Fri.)
Differential Backup = Saturday's

So for example, I use this routine on my File server starting the 1st Sunday of the Month, the exchange server on the 2nd Sunday of the month, SQL on the 3rd ... etc ...etc..

The reason for my question is that I read in another book that you should not mix differentials and incremental backups.

Is that correct or not?

Acronis GFS scheme uses exactly this set of backup types - monthly full, weekly differentials and daily incrementals. So it's should not be generally bad.
