Hi Tfarzlan,

do I understand correctly that you are using Acronis Backup and Recovery 10? Can you please provide more details on the problem you've faced and give a step-by-step description of your scenario?

Best regards,

I'm having a similar issue.  I'm using the Acornis 10 Backup bootable CD and on this specifice PC it CANNOT see the a hard drive at all.  I've gone through the Bios and I can't see anything that would keep the hard drive from being detected.  If I plug in a USB drive it CAN be seen.

I've been using Acronis 10 since 2011 with no issues.  Other similar PC's are fine.  what could be the matter?

The most probable cause of the problem is the lack of required drivers in the Linux-based bootable media. Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 is a relatively old product so there might be difficulties with support of the newer hardware.
As a workaround you can create a WinPE bootable media: http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/ABR10/#714.html

Thank you,
