Could i use adnaved server edtition on a workstation for exmaple, or is it just for server OS?

Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server definitely supports server (including Linux) and workstation OSes and allows to manage all the processes remotely from one machine.

Nevertheless, should you have workstations in your environment we would advise you to use Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Workstation for them - it is cheaper, and you can manage Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server with Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Workstation from one Management Console. You can find the list of each product supports in this KB article. I would like to advise you to look for more details in the respective User's Guides.
