Does the new 11133 Boot Disc even work?

Thread needs solution

Morning!

I just downloaded the new 11133 B&R update and as usual - made my bootable disc so I can image our WS without having to clog up the PC with the actual Windows software.

However - this new boot disc - while it seems to be normal - has some serious problems after I set up a simple backup and hit start - I get NO feedback or status or anything in the resulting dialog. This is where I should be seeing progress bars as the image commences and another for when the software validates my new archive.

It just sits there blank...but the drive targetted for backup...actually does get backed up.

I am using the new boot on a brand new custom PC using a SATA DVD reader and USB keyboard/mouse (Which I know have been a complete disaster with any Acronis boot discs in the past).

I would have thought that this company would have figured this out by now.

Judging by the poor performance of this latest build - looks like my trusty Echo workstation edition from 18 months ago is looking more and more like the edition to go to - at least it worked.

Hi Bruce. I just download the latest boot disk from their web page. Mine booted but locked up after a couple errors scrolled across the screen. Am I going to contact support about it? No way. The entire ABR 10 boot disk and all is broke and, as always, talking to their tech support is like talking to a brick wall. It would be easier and cheaper to try ShadowProtect :)
