Don't see any files in backup

Thread needs solution

I have been running an Incremental backup on a shared drive for a while now. I have been checking to make sure that the backup is running by looking at the size and date \ time of the backup file. We had a Windows problem on one of our servers and had to reinstall it. Now when I look at the backups for the past few weeks there is an issue. Usually I can drill down inside the backup files and see the files that have been backed up. For the backups for the past few weeks when I drill down to where the directory and files should be, it just hangs and there is an error after a little bit. And then it is blank as if there are no files. How could that be if the backup TIB files shows as 328,251 KB? Where is my backed up data and how do I get it?
Running Acronis 10.

Were you creating periodical full backups or it's the chain of one full and incrementals. May be some of files in the chain got corrupted (did you perform backup validation?), or may be the chain is too long. You may try to restore using the management console - click 'recover' and select the archive, then its contents.
