Drivers in subfolders?

At my job I have about 60 computers with different hardware, and I downloaded drivers from driverpack website (mass storage, and some textmode drivers from some other websites), but sometimes when I deploy image AUR asks me for drivers? So I actually have 2 questions:
1. When I add a driver folder in Acronis universal restore, do I need to point directly to a folder with drivers, or the drivers can be in subfolders of selected folder (like difference in XP and Windows 7 drivers search; in Win7 you have "Search subfolders" option)? Or subfolder search only happens if I am searching for drivers on removable media (CD/DVD)? Since I use driver backup tools from Hirens boot (the ones that works in WindowsPE environment and can pull out drivers from original system), subfolder search option would be neat.
2. Is there a recommendation on where should acquire most of these drivers? Like in one universal pack, so I could easily just add this folder to search and AUR will automatically find drivers?
- Note: Even if sometimes AUR asks me for drivers, system boots without any problems even if I ignored required driver...
