Email notification doesnt work.

Thread needs solution

Hello,
we use Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 on a customers server.
I already used 3 different emails from different email-hoster. (web.de,ewe,1and1 and own hoster)
The email test is sucessful. But i dont getting any testemails from this server.
So the backup emails wont work too. I dont get any error messages.

smtp: smtps-1.ewe.net
port: 587

thank you for your posting!

The thing is that if you configure email notifications from Acronis Management Server the test notification is sent from AMS, but after actual backup notifications are sent from managed agents themselves. So first of all it makes sense to connect directly to agent and check if notification can be successfully sent. Please check this article for details and further troubleshooting steps.

I have already tried the most. How i connect directly to the agent? i tested the email on the server console.
We got many customers with Acronis Backup & Restore 10 and 11. On all server we wont get an email. And thats are over 50.

I have changed some email settings:

email: ***@ewe.net
smtp: smtp-1.ewe.net Port 25
Login Pop: pop3-1.ewe.net Port 110

Now i get a test email, when i using the email test function directly on the backup Task. But i wont get an email when a backup is starting/ending.
So when i trying to use the same email settings on Acronis backup and restore 2010 i getting this errormessage:
