Email Notification Subject Line

Thread needs solution

Is there a way to adjust the Subject line of the notification on an email report based on the sucess or failure of the job.

I am moving a customer from Backup Exec and they are used to just checking the subject line and with all customers as little change as possible from what they are used to is required.

Welcome to our Forum, thank you for joining us and opening a thread regarding this question!

I have checked with our Development team and at the moment there is no way to edit e-mail notification messages.

Currently e-mail notification name is built according to this scheme:

TEXT_NOTIFY_EMAIL_COMPLETE_SUBJECT

  1. task name
  2. status of the task
  3. machine name

So you will have the name built from option 0+1+2, where 0 is the task name, 1 - has succeeded/failed/requires your interaction, 2 - machine name.

I will create a Customer Listening Case and forward it to our Development team so that this feature gets included in a future release of our software.
