empty recycle bin
While making schedule backup I NOW get "Module error code 4 (0x4004)
I make a daily backup to a dedicated external hard drive. This error has only occurred after about a month.
I have emptied the recycle bin as requested

Unfortunately, we are unable to find the exact reason of the issue without additional information. Have you tried to re-install the program? What is the build number of your program? You can find out the build number by selecting "Help" option, "About". The latest build of Acronis True Image 11 Home is build #8101, please make sure that you are using the latest build. You can learn more on how to download the latest build here.
If this doesn't help, please attach the log file of the failed operation to your next post.
- Start Acronis True Image;
- Select Tools -> Show log;
- Choose the log entry which contains errors;
- Click on the diskette icon, choose the location (folder) and save there;
- Attach the log file.
