Error 66.036(0x101F4)

Thread needs solution

Hi all,

I need help for my customer, he use Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 (I know its old) and since 5 day he got an error:

Echec de lecture des données sur le disque.
Echec lors de la lecture à partir du secteur « 463.073.792 » du disque dur « 2 ».

Code: 66.036(0x101F4)

But he got a virtual machine on Esxi, so I dont understand how Acronis can know that there is a bad sector on the physical hard drive ?

My Customer config:

HP ProLiant ML350 Gen6

Vmware

Windows SBS 2011 Standard

We already reboot the server but it doesnt work.

Thanks :)

Hello Bauret,

Thank you for your posting! Are you backing up your virtual machines using an Agent for ESX or using Agents for Windows (Linux) installed into the guest OS of VMs? Have you tried to install an Agent into the guest OS, is the result the same? Does the issue occur only to particular machines or all VMs? If only certain machines are affected, could you please check the file system in the guest OS with chkdsk /f /r.

Thank you,
