Thank you for taking your time to report about the issue. Unfortunately at the moment it is difficult to say what exactly went wrong according to the screenshot you have kindly attached, so we will need to take a closer look at the issue, but let's try first some tricks that can resolve the problem.

First of all please kindly check whether you have the following services started:

  • Volume Shadow Copy,
  • COM+ System Application,
  • Distributed Transaction Coordinator

(You can find the services here: Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services).

Also you need to clear the Temp folder. The location of the Temp folder depends on the Operating System you are running, usually it is C:\Temp, but in Vista it is located at C:\Users\(User-Name)\AppData\Local\Temp.

I would also advise you to check whether you are using the latest build of the product (you can check in in the Help -> About or in the properties of the installation file). It should be 10.0.11345. Should you use the previous build, please kindly download the latest one from here.

After that please kindly try to install the License Server once again.
