Error code 10 while checking license

Thread needs solution

Hello everybody,

I just took over a new customer. He has a Windows SBS2008 with Acronis Backup 10.

While checking the machine, I found in the log the following entry (literally translated from the German version):

Code: 13.238.274(0xCA0002)
Module: 202
Planned license check completed.
Additional info:
Error code: 2
Module: 202
LineInfo: 599e50188dc69fce
Fields: $module: C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\mms.exe
Message: Planned license check completed.

The backup seems to work, at least a file is generated, that looks good. I did not yet try a recovery.

What is the problem here?

Sorry, the subject line is incorrect... the error code is not 10, it is 2!

there is no issue here. In this way progra just informs you that it performed the planned license check.
