Error when attempting to do a backup

Thread needs solution

We are using Acronis 10 (build 11105) at our site and have been using this for backups successfully for years. While attempting to back up 2 of our servers I received the following error and it would never recognize my external hard drive always just saying "loading.....".

Our security policies make it very difficult to download and install upgrades or patches to our system. Trying to figure out why this has worked without issue in the past but has stopped working now.

The error looks like caused by missing privileges for acro_subst_user. Check privileges for acro_subst_user (or something like this, can't check its exact name) . I'm not sure what they should be, but I'd check 'logon as service' and that there are no 'deny logon as ...' privileges.
