Extremly Slow Recovery from Tape

Hello,
we habe a Windows 2011 SBS Server with Acronis SBS 11.5 (newest version) and a HP Ultrium 3 SAS Tape (with sperate SAS Controller HP H220, all drivers are up2date). Now I tried so revocer some data from that Tape and it took about 12 hour only to recover about 3000 empty folders (no files inside). This is not aceptable. Any ideas why this is so unusably slow?
