Failed to connect to Acronis Managed Machine Service

Thread needs solution

The "Acronis Managed Machine Service" is stopping unexpectedly on several Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.4 servers running Acronis Backup & Recovery 11, which causes our Acronis backup cronjob scripts to fail. I've tried adding a restart command in the backup script without success.

# service acronis_mms status
Acronis MMS is stopped

# dkms status
snapapi26, 0.7.61, 2.6.39-400.24.1.el6uek.x86_64, x86_64: installed

How do I troubleshoot this? Where are the logs for acronis_mms?
