Failed to connect to service 'ASN'.

Thread needs solution

I have this error message each time backup remote server with agent. fine with local or Virtual Machines.

ABR11 (build 17440) install on Hyper-V host.

Does anyone could help?

I have checked your account and saw, that you have valid support subscription. We launched a view weeks before the new Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 product and I upgraded in your account your two products now to the new version.

Regarding your problem, it seems that the agent of the server is unable to reach the Acronis Storage Node. In this case, I would suggest using IP addresses instead of DNS names. Also, please check, if you can ping your Acronis Storage Node from the affected server.

If this does not solve your issue, I suggest upgrading to the new version by using this article from our knowledge base.

Thank you for supporting.

I confirm that I can ping the storage notes server by both name & ip address. Anyways I'm upgrading to new version.

Another question:

I'm backing up to Tape Drive
Backup type: Simple Backup. Perform full backup daily (Mon to Fri)
Selection: 1 remote physical server, 3 Virtual Machine (on Hyper-V) and Hyper-V server

So, when the job running, it will do 4 different tasks.

I want to overwrite the tapes everyday, but I don't know how to do. If I option to overwrite the tape each time do Full backup, then the second task will overwrite data of first task.

I also want to eject tapes when the jobs done, but if I option to eject tape each time successfull backup, the tape will be ejected after first task.

Could you please help me to figure out the solution? I want to backup multiple servers, overwrite everyday, eject tape when job done.
