HELP - backup / clones not working

Thread needs solution

I am using an old version of Acronis bc I haven't decided to update or not.

Goal - for my company, we have the exact same computer used for every system. We buy computers 5-10 at a time and need to load our software and configure each exactly the same.

1) I tried backup and restore. A single backup made mybackup1, mybackup2, 3, 4 -- all the same size.
2) When I tried to restore on the first computer, I was confronted with an error on reboot that said "Windows failed to start" -- putting in the Windows 7 disc that I have, allowed the repair your computer to work. This computer worked great. So I tried it on the next
3) Same error message, but now the Windows disc (same disc) says that it's not the correct version. The only options provided are then to format and reinstall all drives. So -- I went back to the first computer that works --
4) I used the clone command to a USB 1 terabyte external drive -- clone was successful
5) I tried to boot from this USB external drive and it didn't work - I get past the error message for Windows Boot Manager and it stops at "starting Windows"

Now I am stuck!

Backup/Restore didn't work.
Clone didn't work.

These computers don't have internal cd players. I do have an external DVD Player / Burner and was considering moving my clone to that drive to see if it will work.

Suggestions Please????

Project is due tomorrow AM.

And I am stuck on this text screen for Windows Boot Manager

0) What is exact software name and version ?
1) Most likely target disk is formatted in FAT32.
2) Did you select all partitions to backup including system reserved?

0) Acronis True Image 2009
1) Target disk? Meaning the USB Drive? I can reformat and re-image
2) When I did the image - I chose all images
When I did the backup, I just did the C: drive
* there are other partitions

Right now I can't get to a dos prompt. The original hard drive has multiple partitions from asus. One is recovery.

I deleted the old cloned drive on the USB Hard Drive
When I go to make a new clone, it says that it will make NFTS Partitions.

0) Wrong forum then - I suggest to move to 'true image home - old versions'
1) Where multiple tib files were created - FAT32 has a limitation of 4 GB file size.
2) - TI2009 doesn't support Windows 7.
