Hello Robin!
Thank you for finding time to join us and open the thread regarding this question. I will be glad to shed the light to the situation.
Tape ejection can be managed through Acronis Storage Node. Unfortunately in Windows 2008R2 it will not work due to Microsoft removed RSM from this OS, and we access tapes straight through RSM. As a workardound I can suggest you to install ASN onto any other machine, that has RSM support, like Windows XP. After the installation onto an alternative machine you will be able to set autoejection of tapes and manage autoloader.
You can find more information about Storage Node and tape ejection in the chapter 4.1.3 and 7.1.5 , p. 136,308 in the User's Guide.
Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!
Thank you!
