How to resume backup that is Running 99% but is stoppped

Thread needs solution

We have a backup job where the Execution Status = 99% and the Last Result = Stopped. The running time in the details is not progressing anymore. It says there is 19 seconds remaining and I would really like to resume this job. Is this possible?

The file it is 'processing' is:
D:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-3211259366-2324222633-725254488-500

The C: drive filled up during this job (0 bytes free!) so I it is obvious that this caused the job to stall in the first place. I have freed up 170MB with the hope that the job would then resume, it did not. This is of course only short term, the C: partition needs to be expanded.

Due to no disk space, application log errors include:
wuaueng.dll (936) SUS20ClientDataStore: Unable to write a shadowed header for file C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore\Logs\tmp.edb. Error -1808.

Using:
Acronis B&R 10
Win Server 2003 Small Bus SP2

Thanks,

Chris

Hello Chris,

Thank you for posting. I will definitely help you with this issue.

I am afraid it will not be possible to resume the backup task. To get rid of it, I would recommend to kill all Acronis applications and processes from the task manager, you can check this KB article for more details. Then, restart all Acronis services and launch the program. From the program GUI delete the task and check your backup location, there may be an incomplete backup file there just in case.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
