How to update agents?

Thread needs solution

I have installed the newest Backup & Recovery Build, however the clients still have the old agent. How do I update them? I tried to reinstall the agent, but Acronis is warning me that there are no licenses available (The licenses are used by the clients I want to update)

Thank you very much for posting. I will be happy to assist you.

I would appreciate if you can clarify something. Are you updating the agents remotely or locally? If locally, are you using the installation package or an extracted agent for Windows .msi file?

If this issue occurs when you are performing remote installation, please do the following to resolve this issue.

 - Revoke 1 license from the Acronis License Server. To do so, please launch the License Server, press on Manage licenses on the local machine, press on View Usage Info.

 - Select one license for Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 Advanced Workstation and click on the following button to revoke this license.

 - After that, please go back to Manage Available Licenses and re-add this license key to the license server.

You will then have 1 available license to proceed with your remote installation and at the end it will become used after you install it on machine where it was used on originally.

I would appreciate if you could get to me and update regarding the status of this issue. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
