I get "restart required" when running a recovery task.

Thread needs solution

After selecting an archive to restore and getting back to the Data Recovery screen in the What to Recover section it says Remove in red. If I continue with the recovery The progress gets to 15% and then it stops and say User intervention required. If I click on details it says a reboot is required to finish. If I click on reboot the Progress tab goes away but a reboot never happens. Rebooting it manually does nothing.

Hello,

A reboot is required during restore in situations where it's impossible to write data directly from the running OS (for example, you cannot restore a Windows system partitions from inside a running Windows system because this would require replacing all the system files that are currently loaded and running the restore process).

The reboot should normally take you into our bootable media recovery environment. I'm not sure why this isn't happening and would suggest reaching out to our support people to get this looked at.

If this isn't an option, the easiest workaround is to simply boot into our recovery envionment (create an acronis bootable media and boot into it) and running the recovery task from there.
