Image restore problem using UR and Silicon 3512 SATA PCI

Thread needs solution

My company is Acronis reseller. One of the my customer have ABR 10 Server for Windows with Universal Restore. He have full image of old server Dell 2800 with 3 hard disk in RAID 5 created using Acronis boot media.  He want to  restore this image on new server  HP ML 1100 with  Silicon 3x12 (3512) SATA PCI Card and 2 hard disks  connected  to this PCI Card in  RAID 1 (mirroring).  He is using UR restore and specify drivers for this  PCI Card in section Mass storage install anyway and in section Specify search folder. After restoration finish system cannot boot. He see Windows 2003 Server logo and blue screen and restart. When he removed this PCI Card and restore image system boot corectly bu the want to use this PCI Card and disks in RAID 1.

Before he buy ABR he try to install clean Windows 2003 Server on this HP ML 1100 and he provide the same drivers for the PCI Card like during image restoration and they was correct.

Hello Martinez,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/ | Acronis Corporate Products]]

Silicon 3x12 (3512) SATA PCI Card is supported in RAID 1 configuration. I would recommend this customer to use the latest build of Acronis Bootable Rescue Media with AUR based on ISOLINUX and see if the issue remains.

If this doesn't help, ask him to boot the computer from a Windows installation CD, hit F6 when prompted and check out whether the drivers work there. If they do not (the RAID/HDD is not detected), then suggest him to get the latest version of the drivers (e.g. from the vendor's Web site).

If nothing helps, we need several diagnostic files to find the exact reason of the program malfunction.

Thank you.
