Incredibly slow backup

Acronis B&R 10.0.12705 (latest) on Dell Vostro V13

Backup of disk inside Windows: ~10 minutes at about 32MB/s
Backup of same disk booting off USB pen: ~8 hours (and increasing) at about <1MB/s

Why the huge difference? Is Linux so bad at networking ;-)

There can be several reasons for the problem, but before we proceed with the investigation, I'd like to offer you a workaround: 

  1. Download the latest bootable media in ISO  format from your account
  2. Load in onto the USB stick as mentioned here
  3. Check whether the issue remains

Should it be present, please gather Acronis Linux Report, submit a case with the information attached, and let us know it's number.
