Install Fails to install on F:

Thread needs solution

Anybody run into this? Using the normal install setup ignores all drives except C:. You can tell it all day to load to F: but it still installs all componants to C:. If you extract the large install into the modules and install each module individually you can then get it to install to F:. But if you run the repair from the large install package - It promptly copies 230GB to C: and procedes to install everything BACK to C:. So now you have two installs one on F: and one on C: .. of course I don't have 230GB on C: so the repair fails and kills the working install on F: . Very wierd.

Hello Mark Khatiblou,

Thank you for posting about this issue. I will do my best to assist you.

When installing Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 on another drive, it still places some data in Program Files/Common Files. I am sorry for the inconvenience, it is unknown at the moment why this issue occurs. I found your case with our experienced support engineers and they are currently working on a solution.

If you need additional assistance or have any other questions, please let me know.

Thank you.
