installation problem, says russian version is installed

I had ABR11.0.17440 installed on a 32bit Windows XP machine, and i had to uninstall acronis from it. I uninstalled, used the cleanup utility, and checked the registry as recommended by Acronis. When I tried to reinstall acronis, it informed me that another version of Acronis was already installed: Russian. When i try to install the Core.msi & WindowsAgent.msi manually, i get an error "This advertised application will not be installed because it might be unsafe. Contact your administrator to change the installation user
interface option of the package to basic".

Not sure where to go from here...
