Installing B&R AS Agent on Virtual Machine

I've got two physical Windows 2008 servers, one of which is hosting a virtual Windows 2008 server for a total of three servers. I was told by an Acronis rep that I only needed to purchase two Backup & Restore AS licenses, because a license allowed me to install Agents on up to four virtual machines hosted on a single physical server. Acronis' site (http://www.acronis.com/backup-recovery/advanced-server/features.html) agrees with this, and so I purchased two licenses. I was able to install the Agent on both physical servers without issue. But when I try to install the Agent on the virtual server, the checkbox is grayed out, presumably because I have used up my two licenses.

What is the proper procedure for installing the Agent on a virtual server?

Isn't agent for hyperv needed to be installed only on the host, not on the virtual machines?
