Installing when low on disk space
I'm trying to install Backup & Recovery 10 with Universal Restore in a Windows server 2003 standard edition computer with about 430Mb free space on disk C:.
Disk D: has 70Gb free, so i choose to install the package in drive D:.
For reasons i will not explain for brevity, i don't want to restart the computer.
Since the installation always aborts claiming for space, is there a way to install the package without using disk C: at all? (Or, at least, using less than 400Mb on it?).

Thank You.
Since i don't see any easy way to obtain the required space in drive C:, this is my last question: is it possibile to install the package in another server (or a client) in order to manage at least some operations remotely?

Hello again, Alberto,
Thank you for getting back to me and you are very welcome.
In case you are using Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 Server for Windows, the scenario you are describing will not be possible because this program was designed for local operations, it is a standalone version.
If you require remote operations, then I can recommend Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 Advanced Server. You can also check this article for versions comparison. With this program, you can install only the agent and manage it remotely with the management console installed on another machine. The remote agent does not require a lot of space and it will certainly fit on your machine.
If you like to test a trial version, you can download it from here.
Let me know if you have any other questions please.
Thank you.
