Michelle,

Welcome to the growing community of people whose Linux Recovery Disk won't boot so we can do a restore if need me.

This appears to be a pretty wide spread problem affecting a lot of Acronis True Home 2012 purchasers. I have a Toshiba notebook, and the Acronis boot disk starts to load, and then the screen goes black and all CD activity ceases and it just lays there and does nothing.

I have a trouble ticket in with Acronis regarding this issue. So far no solution provided by Acronis. Given it's about three months later since you first reported your issue, I'm not holding out much hope that this problem will be resolved in my 30-day return period.

If Acronis doesn't get on the stick, I'll have to return the product as it simply does not work.
