Issues detecting folders via UNC

Currently I'm using ABR 11 and encoutered the following issue. I have a shared folder and when I try to do a file/folder backup using UNC path, it does not detect the folder. I've used the administrators credential and tried on test and actual environment and the problem persist. Does any one have any advice on how to resolve this issue?
