lan free backup abr 11

hi all,
there is someone that has been able to perform this tipe of backup?

I have follow the guide installing agent for esx(i) for windows, correctly zooning/masking the san so the windows server could see the esx datastore but the backup still work through san...

I have a case open with the support but still no answer.
