License server doesn't allow selection/assignment of ARB11 licenses

Thread needs solution

I am running a now mixed ABR11/ABR11.5 environment, for which all machines are managed on the same management server. All my physical machines are running ABR11, and my ESXi Appliance is version 11.5. In order to use the new license for the VM backups, i had to install version 11.5 license server (and AMS).
Today i went to do a remote installation to a machine (with v11 components), and when it came time to assign licenses, it reported that it was deficient licenses. Looking at "license mapping", the only license that shows is the Virtual appliance license (which cannot be selected since this is a physical machine).
Anyone else running into this problem? (i.e. have 10/11 mixed and want to deploy v10?)
Is there any way to use those licenses with the newer license server?
Is downgrading and running separate license servers my only option?

(Upgrading all licenses to 11.5 is not going to happen as i did not re-up maintenance; i still didn't have a consistent product a year after purchase)

It may remote installer itself. Does it work if you run ABR11 installer (or .msi files) right on the remote machine?

OK, i tested and i am able to install ABR11 on the client machine if i copy the installer files and run it manually. It picks up the correct license at that point.
You may be right, it could definitely be the remote installer program.
As often as Acronis has to be re-installed, i do not relish the idea that i will have to do each machine manually.

Maybe it will be possible to specify 'online backup only' license for the remote install and later connect to the agent and change to a regular license.
