Need to create an "image" and restore it to another notebook

Greetings,
I have Acronis Backup & Recovery 11. I have a notebook that is on it lasts legs
and I have a replacement notebook. I have licensed my Acronis with the universal restore key.

I need to backup the notebook that is on its lasts legs and "restore" it to the replacement.
The replacement is different hardware.

I could not find in the help (or google) the steps to accomplish this task.

Can anybody point me to the steps or tell me ?
