Hello B&Z,

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad you joined us! I completely understand your concern and will be glad to assist you.

The issue you've faced could've been caused either by the lack of drivers or by the loader glitch. This can be resolved by obtaining updated media built on another loader. I'm glad to inform you that currently you have an ability to download it from your account. After it please burn the downloaded ISO and check whether it successfully working on your system.

Should the issue persist, please let me know, I will find another solution.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

The problem in question is also presented on a PC similar, always after
having completed the loading of the main screen with menu icons and the
two pc "freezzano" and shows no signs of response. It would seem a problem
on PCs "new generation" as on other PCs slightly
Older works perfectly. Another detail that might
might help, try the old version: Acronis True Image Echo
Workstation can not start the "full version" always on
computer in question, but is working only the "safe version".
Another detail we noticed that the BIOS settings
"Enhanced Idle State Power" Enable set as default, Acronis 10
Stops already start the Linux kernel (black screen where the loading is
modules), disabling this parameter are unable to get to the screen
where then is the "Freeze". We have changed other parameters of the BIOS without
reach different results.

thanks.

Hello Flavio!

Welcome to our Forum, it's nice to have you with us! Thank you for your comment!

The most probable reason of the issue is in the loader glitch. In order to resolve it just register you product's license here.  After that download the updated bootable media from your account and burn it onto the CD. This should resolve the issue. Should you use a trial version you will need to contact either any Forum Moderator or Support directly for the link to updated media.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

Hi,your last solution was been my first test.Same cd-boot works normally in other pc.Only those pc-models not work.
Try the old version: Acronis True Image Echo
Workstation can not start the "full version" always on
computer in question, but is working only the "safe version".

Hello Flavio,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience.
Since the latest version of the bootable failed to resolve the issue, most likely it lacks the hardware drivers to complete the operation successfully. Please submit a support request with the Acronis Linux Report collected from the latest bootable media and I am confident that our support engineers will resolve this for you.

If you have any other issues or have additional questions, please let me know.

Thank you.

I try to do screen shots in F11 mode but mouse and keyboard not work and i can't write sysinfo|more.

Hello Flavio,

Thank you for responding.

I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience. Is there a chance that you can connect a regular keyboard to your machine? At least this way, using the keyboard you can navigate through the menu. Please check this article for the proper keys.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

I had already tried unsuccessfully to follow the Article Instructions. May be an incompatibility Bios like the "Enhanced Idle State Power" parameter.

Hello Flavio,

Thank you for the update.

In this case, please boot from the recovery CD and when you see the words - Starting Acronis Loader please press the F11 key.

You will get a pop-up saying the word 'quiet'. Delete that word and press OK.

After that, you may or not boot into the # prompt. If you fail to boot, it will really help us if you can take photos of any commands that you see.

If you do get to the # prompt, please let us know, and try launching the gui from there. Simply type: /bin/product and press Enter. Please let us know what happens.

If you have additional questions, please let me know.

Thank you.

When I arrive to prompt # pc keyboard and mouse not work. how can I type?

Dear Flavio!

Thank you for your comment and for keeping us posted, I really appreciate it.

In case the keyboard and mouse fails to work with this particular media, let's try another one, built on alternative media. I will send it to you via PM with instructions.

Should it fail to work, please

  1. Try switching USB legacy in BIOS
  2. Send us Windows System Information

This information will help us to localize the issue and find an appropriate solution. I'm also glad to notify you that this case received Experts attention, so be sure we're going our best to resolve the case.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Hi.I don't have this parameter in my bios.
    Attached my FSI
In my opinion it is a bios conflict or incompatibility.

    Hello Flavio,

Thank you very much for getting back to us. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience.

Can you please let me know about a small detail. You were provided with another version of our bootable media and you tried booting with the 3 and 4th parameters, do you mind letting me know what happens there?

I appreciate the Windows System Information which I will forward to our Expert team. As soon as I get an update from them I will contact you via a private message.

If there is anything else I can do, please let me know.

    Thank you.

With the 3rd (ACPI = OFF) and 4th (ACPI = OFF in quiet mode) parameters of your bootable media, I arrived to the Agent console where it possible setting lan configuration. With the other boot option (0, 1 ,2 ,5, 6...etc) not start anything.
    Thank you.

    Hello Flavio,

    Thank you for replying.

I appreciate the additional information. I would recommend to use the 3rd or 4th parameter as a temporary workaround since this way our software can function for your needs. We will definitely include a fix in the next release of our bootable media.

If you have additional questions, please let me know.

    Thank you.

thanks for the support. One question, how can it help the average bottable given to me by you as it contains only the agent of Acronis Server while I need a Workstation version? If my disk crashes as restoring my save. Tib saved on storage?

    Dear Flavio!

    Thank you for that question.

I'm glad to assure you that the custom version of the bootmedia supports Wokstation OS and images, so you will not face any issues with it. Thus in case your machine crashes, you will be able to restore the *.tib saved.
