Hi Wilson

It might be best to create a WinPE based boot CD where you can add the required drivers to your boot CD to fix this issue... (You can also report this to Acronis support so they can look at including support in future releases of the Linux based Boot CD as well)

Here is some details on how to create a WinPE boot CD...

I've also recently made some screenshots for another user on the process just this morning... here is a link to the forum post were I've uploaded them to is required: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/25017#comment-77345

HOW also report this to Acronis support so they can look at including support in future releases of the Linux based Boot CD as well ?

Hi Wilson

Sorry I did not understand your previouls post... Are you saying you have created a WinPE boot CD and added the drivers but it's still not detecting your LSI Megaraid controller? If that is the case please ensure the drivers you are using on your WinPE disk are for the correct Windows version (Eg, if you are using WinPE 3.x you should use Windows 7 drivers for the boot CD)

Dear wilson wang,

Can you please collect Acronis Linux report from the bootable disk and attach it to your post?
It can be collected by going to Help -> Collect system information when booted from the bootable disk.
It will help us to investigate this issue - according to our records, this controller should be detected just fine.

Thank you.

I'm also using an LSI 9265-8i with the current ABR-11 Linux build, and the Linux boot disk isn't detecting the controller. I am using WinPE 3.x, but would like to be able to read an image from an ext4 drive or restore files rather than an entire partition.

Previously provided my system information.

Thank you,

Sean
