Problem with vault error
Hi
We are trialling Acronis Backup and Recovery Advanced for SBS because we have windows 2003 sbs environment.
I created a backup policy and selected the destination to be a NAS Dlink DNS-343 with 1TB raid 1 storage.
The backup is scheduled to execute at 11pm Monday-Friday.
Every time I go back into edit the policy I get this error message:
"The vault you have selected is unavailable at the moment. if it is inaccessible when the task starts, the task will fail"
Why? I previously saved the backup policy and should have the destination and the credentials saved.
I am not using centralised vaults, just personal one.
We would like to use 2 NAS storage devices to swap in and out (take one offsite), can someone give me a recommended strategy for this to image the whole server?
Thanks and regards

Hello Theo,
Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help. The issue is caused by the blocked access to the NAS device. Please recreate backup plan specifying username and password for the Linux NAS.
On the Create backup plan screen, tick off Advanced view. Click Change next to Access credentials under Where to back up:
Provide username and password for the Linux NAS:
The backup to NAS may fail with an error message similar to the following one:
The selected vault is not available at the moment. Please select a different vault
If you have your NAS joined to a domain or workgroup, avoid using the top level domain extension .local; e.g. If your NAS is set to be joined to mydomain.local, then connect to your NAS and change it to Mydomain.
After changing the NAS setting, please refresh your DNS cache.
Start-Run -> type in "cmd and press Enter;
In the command prompt, type ipconfig /flushdns
If you want to swap NAS devices, you should create create a separate task for every NAS drive.
Please let us know the results, we should be sure that the program runs flawless for you. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.
Thank you.
