RAID-0 Problem?

Thread needs solution

I'm using Acronis 2010 Home Edition
I have my OS (win 7) installed on a RAID-0 of 2 Seagate 'cuda's.
When I go to restore, all goes well until I need to select a destination drive.
2 things odd are here.
1. the wrong HD is shown as being the C: drive
2. It shows each phyiscal drive, instead of the Array as a whole.
In this oddity, only 1 of the 2 drives show data being stored on it.

So... do I select the drive in the RAID that shows data present?

A similar problem was discussed in another thread... but that person solved it by upgrading to 2010... which is what I'm running.

TI 2010 isn't correctly detecting the RAID setup. When using RAID 0, the data alternates between the drives. This results in one drive showing the partition information and one not when seen as two separate drives. Do not do a restore when then happens.

You could try the TI 2010 ISO available for download from your Acronis account. It may contain more updated drivers. Otherwise, you could try the SafeMedia version or contact Acronis Support and request a version that includes the drivers you need. Additional options include creating a BartPE or WinPE-based TI CD and include any necessary drivers.
